Choose Your Path collects and processes customers' personal data for, among other things: customer management, customer administration, arranging appointments and contact moments, answering your questions, and sending marketing emails.

Legal basis(es) for processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6.1.(a) consent, (b) necessary for the performance of a contract, (c) necessary to comply with a legal obligation of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) (consent), the customer always has the right to withdraw the given consent.

Transfer to third parties

If necessary for the realization of the stated purposes, the customer's personal data will be shared with other companies within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly connected to Choose Your Path or with any other partner of Choose Your Path;

Choose Your Path guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data.

Retention period

The personal data processed for customer management will be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including in the area of accounting).

Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability

The customer has the right to access their personal data at any time and can have it corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete, have it deleted and have its processing restricted. Moreover, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format) of their personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another company.

In order to exercise the above-mentioned rights, the customer is asked to take one of the following steps:

Direct marketing

The customer has the right to object free of charge to any processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes.

The Customer has the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels - https://www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be/burger).
